Dr.Chen is an excellent Physician. When I began seeing Dr.Chen my blood pressure was averaging 168 - 178. Now it's averaging 110 - 128. Just like that he has me on a great medication routine and I'm doing so much better.

Dr Chen was very thorough in describing the situation recently experienced with my heart. He was thorough in explaining exactly how my heart was affected, shared the echo records, and added significantly to my understanding of what and how my heart is affected by my abdominal migraine attacks.

The appointment I had with Dr. Chen, was the first time I met him, and he was very easy to talk to, and displayed concern for my and my husband's heart health. He also ordered a test for me to take, but I cannot get into MY Chart, to schedule it. DR. Chen was great, My Chart takes up so much time, and often I do not get into it.

Appreciate his approach to medicines and explaining their purpose particularly taking me off blood thinner which previous drs never mentioned as a possibility

I love Dr Chen!! Very accessible and actually one of the only reasons I'm still with Providence. Hate Olympia Providence but love some of the Swedish Seattle docs. Wish Swedish would open a facility down in Olympia.

The staff is always kind, and my primary care provider is absolutely the best person for me. The cardiologist Dr. Chen was attentive, knowledgeable, and kind, his staff was awesome, and because I haven't had the tests he ordered yet, there has been no need to notify me of results. The test performed in his office the day of my visit, I was given the result immediately. There was no need for a follow-up.

Dr. Chen is absolutely the best cardiologist I have ever seen, and made me feel so validated about both past and current concerns about my heart condition which has at times been written off by previous providers acting as my cardiologist. He didn't overreact either, which can be easy to do when it comes to heart concerns.

Dr Chen was very courteous and respectful. He explained my condition exceptionally. But I think there may have a been a miscommunication somewhere or maybe it's your policy, I didn't really need to see Dr Chen. My cardiologist referred me down for bypass surgery. This visit seemed redundant to me, he told me everything my cardiologist already did. That is my only concern. Otherwise, everyone I have dealt with has been fantastic

Dr. Chen pays attention. He follows up on conversations we had previously, emphasizing next steps, suggesting alternatives when I raised a question about medication, asking follow-up questions on response to my concerns.

Dr Chen only half heartedly attempted to hide the actually very obvious truth that he didn't approve of me. He left in a rude manner, turning his back to me without a word. Don't expect him to always uphold the dignity of his patients.
