My care team is exceptional in every way: they reach out to me when they have news like test results; they respond very quickly to my chart questions; they are speedy to approve medication refill requests; they are smart as hell and give terribly good advice and suggestions that help me deal with my health situations. I cannot say enough positive things about my care team.

Dr. Janssen always listens well. I feel my health care is a collaboration with him.

Fully confident in Dr. J and his team. The only wrinkle in our association with Swedish is the access to a competent lab with speedy results - Dr. J needs competency and efficiency in lab results and the current restructuring is not supporting Dr. J or me as a patient.

I get very good care Dr. Jannsen, his staff, and the staff at the clinic. I moved a couple years ago and actually live closer to other Swedish facilities, but I prefer to continue to go to Ballard because I am well taken care of there.

Listening skills need improvement

Everyone does a great job. It is unfortunate that scheduling is so far out (8 to 12 weeks)

Doctor and his staff are doing a very good job of patient care.

My first visit, so I withhold final judgement. But Dr. Janssen seems to be EXTREMELY conservative in his care. On a first encounter some caution is good, but I am concerned... He Seems very inflexible.

The experience with Dr. Janssen was excellent. Getting an appointment was disappointing. I am newly landed in Ballard and seeking a new provider using the Swedish website was cumbersome and time-consuming. Doctors accepting new patients was not current and my first attempts were not successful. Then my first appointment was scheduled 3 months out. I had no Idea. I should have started the process before I moved.

Is very good at explaining things

Dr Jansen was really great. He was very thorough and thoughtful. He asked a lot of good questions and I could see he took all factors into account which gave me a lot of confidence.

My care provider always takes the time to be attentive to my question, asks me for pertinent information, and then responds using language I can understand. He asks whether I understand, or have more questions. If I don't ask a question, he asks if I have any questions. This is his process and I can count on him to always include me in my own medical care, listen attentively, explain so I understand, and offer choices if available In other words, I feel that I can trust him with my best interest and my life.

This physician is a very receptive to my concerns , explains things clearly without being either overly simplistic or condescending, is sympathetic listener . I felt he was respectful of my opinions, gave me multiple suggestions & options while at the same time not being pushy. From reviewing visit notes I do feel he has on a few occasions interpreted what I said differently than how I meant it but was very receptive when I explained to him what I actually meant. I get the feeling he is well-versed in his patients' histories.

This was my first visit with Dr. Janssen. I was impressed by how quickly I was seen (virtually no wait time), and how much time he spent with me in the exam room. I felt like he listened well and had a good bedside manner--this is so important! He made suggestions about preventative healthcare, but wasn't pushy or too assertive about his opinions. This felt like an Informative conversation, and I actually felt like a patient and not a number. The front office staff was also great--very quick, helpful, and friendly. Also, my lab results (came electronically) were also speedy and Dr. Janssen made notes immediately on each one.

I believe that I have the best and most professional provider I've ever had in my life.
