Dr. Paulson loves to practice medical oncology because it combines cutting-edge science with the humanity of medicine. She particularly appreciates the ability to form deep relationships with patients and families while navigating them through cancer diagnosis and treatment. She believes the best cancer care comes from a team-based approach and is delighted to work with compassionate professionals including oncology-trained nurses. She understands that patients are key members of their care team and thus strives to communicate the “how and why” behind personalized treatment plans for cancer or blood disorders to each patient.
